. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .  takes the flute apart and puts it back together again. Who says that when the keys move the sound changes? What if by some magic a melody appeared of its own accord? A glacial melody moving orders of magnitude slower than the rest of the instrument? What if the sound coming out of this hollow metal tube first appeared as wind, then as rain, then a bird, and finally a voice? A voice calling of from afar in a strange language that was somehow familiar? Would you believe it? Would you listen?
